Fruit Salad..Yummy! Yummy!

Today for lunch I enjoyed this delish fruit salad. If you want to know how I made it then here ya go:

(Unlike me you might not need cutting fruit explained but I did it anyway....I'm such a rebel)

1. Cut medium orange into fourths. Cut the fourths in half and cut the skin off. Chop to desired size.
2. Cut medium apple in fourths. Cut out seeds. cut fourths in half and chop up into smaller pieces.
3. Medium banana. Cut in half. Cut halves in half and then chop into small chunks.
4. Halve as many grapes as you'd like.
5. mix together in a bowl!

Hopefully this wasn't like super easy to figure out and that was completely not needed to explain but whatever. I would need it explained to me lol.

I just really enjoyed this and felt full but still light and energized after eating it. Its about 250 calories.

Fruit salad....yummy..yummy.. *dances away*

Poly's Cone of Shame/Summer Cut

Yep guys its that time once again...........An adorable dog updateeee!!!!

So Napoleon has grown so much!

He is ten months today! Wow has time has flown. But he recently saw a family member of mine whom is a animal groomer for his summer cut. And thanks to his mommy (oops) he had so many mattes of hair on his ears that he had to be shaved really short so she just shaved his whole body.

But I do have reason for the knots on his ears. He got fixed about a month and half ago so the cone he had to wear rubbed knots. That's my story guys so yeah ;) But he sure did dislike that cone of shame lol.

I can't believe in only two short months my little munchkin will be a year old! I love him to pieces (in a creepy dog lovers way)! Hope you liked this little puppy update and I plan to do more of these more often cause its about time I started training this little turd.
XOXO,
Grace + Napoleon

Book Nerd #1

Hey Hey y'all :)

I'm going to be doing my first ever mini book review!! Yay! *start clapping* *now!!*

The book is 'Being Friends With Boys' by Terra Elan McVoy:

So starting off Terra sure can write a captivatingly (probably not a word) relatable lead. The girl in this story is so real, funny, and honest in her thoughts. The book wasn't super predictable for me at least. It was a semi surprise and had me laughing and guessing quite a bit. I really enjoyed joining Charlotte (lead in story hehe) in her finding of feelings and herself.

I'd give this book a three out of five. It just one of those easy read, geared towards teen girls books that I seem to find myself enjoying lately.

Hope you liked this mini review. Tell me in you want more. And check our 'Being Friends With Boys'

Happy Fourth 'Merica

Oh my goodness it been awhile. I seriously need to get it together haha. But we'll just pretend I was on a little vacation hehe.

So I hope everyone had an amazingly magical 4th of July. And if you don't live in the USA then this is kind of awkward....

But anyways :) I spent some wonderful 'early 4th' time with my lovely extended family. We lit sparklers, swam in the dark and dove in the pool for glow sticks. It was awesome.

Then I spent my actually 4th watching fireworks from a beautiful spot in my downtown.

This holiday just makes me feel so festive and free. It makes me really stop and be thankful for all our troops do for us just so we can celebrate our freedom. And it makes me proud to me born and raised, southern, coastal, American gal.

I think Independence Day might be one of my favorite holidays. Anyways I would love to know what ways you (if you are in fact American or fellow US citizen) celebrate.

Have a beautiful day and Live a beautiful life.
